Hmm.. I wonder why. Never heard of this group. So I decided to give it a try. Was this band really at the All good music festival? This show seems very bass heavy on my system. Lyrics seems slightly uninspired to me, and I don't seem to be feeling much energy from the musicians at all.. Well, what am I saying, this is an average audience recording, of a band I've never heard. The music is not my cup of tea/coffee. I'd maybe listen to this show again after a quart or two of moonshine(just kidding). But once again. Its just not my cup of tea.. Ill give it 3 stars just because of this.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Yes, Southern Culture on The Skids was at the 12th annual All Good Music Festival. I was there. And their show was very lively and entertaining. As they are described as a "swamp-rock, trashabilly rock & roll trio" I imagine they don't appeal to everyone.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>slappy, are you smokin' crack? Jimmy Herring is an improvisational MONSTER of rock related music having played with many fine musicians and bands. He WAS at the Allgood festival ... with Aquarium Rescue Unit! (the show is available in the archive for downloading)I found this show by doing a Jimmy Herring search. I listened to the first track, and 10 seconds into it i knew Mr. Herring was NOT with these guys. I agree with moldy-logics review on this, based on only hearing the first track. Get your names straight slappy Mcgee, don't use Jimmy's name as a player on this and insult him that way. Mr. Herring is easily the finest guitarist in the jam-band circle today, there's not even a close second and whomever is playing on this certainly sounds nothing like him at all.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Having been to over a dozen SCOTS show, I can assure you, they are one of the best live acts around and have been for at least a dozen years. They are all great musicians, even if Jimmy Herring isn't one of them. They may not be your cup of moonshine, but they put on a great show and I would recommend anybody check them out and watch the crowd go wild!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This show was great...I can't comment on the sound right now - haven't listened yet - Being a big fan, I bought the Instant Live at the festival. But seriously, being a younger fan that had never seen them (because they play 21+ shows here in Pittsburgh (except once and man I regret not going. damn.)), this was NOT disappointing....it was a lovely late afternoon show, not crowded at the stage, and it ROCKED - with chickin n all - great way to kick off my weekend! I can't wait til SCOTS come back to the 'burgh now that I'm legal! yes!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This sounds like an average performance by the band. The quality of the recording is also average for an AUD, and sounds a little bit muffled. </reviewbody>
